Imphal: Tokyo Olympics Silver medalist weightlifter of India, Mirabai Chanu has got the possibility of getting Gold medal as the Gold medalist from China Zhihui Hou to be tested by anti-doping authorities at the Tokyo Olympics.
According to reports, Hou has been asked to stay in Tokyo to undergo a doping test by the authorities.
If Zhihui Hou fails the test, Mirabai Chanu will emerge as winner of the 49 kg category.
Mirabai lifted a total lift of 202 kilogram while Hou lifted 210 kg.
As per rules, if an athlete fails the doping test, then the athlete who finished below them would replace them in the medal position.
