Imphal: Following confirmation of 760 new Covid-19 positive cases and recovery of 446 Covid-19 patients Manipur has 6,534 active cases as on Wednesday.
Eleven Covid patients expired in 24 hours. They were from Imphal West (2), Imphal East (4), Bishnupur (4) and Churachandpur (1).
The fresh cases belonged to Imphal East (166), Imphal West (247), Thoubal (42), Bishnupur (75), Kakching (76), Uldirul (4), Churachandpur (76), Chandel (7), Senapati (16), Tamenglong (7), Tengnoupal (7), Noney (7), Jiribam (1), Kangpokpi (21) and CAPF (8).
The recovered patients were discharged from home isolation (175), RIMS (11), JNIMS (6), CCCs (115) and CHICs (139).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 74,341 and The recovery rate is 89.55 percent, state Covid-19 common control room said.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1914 D-type oxygen cylinders and 438 B-type ixygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
On Tuesday 26944 persons were vaccinated. The cumulative doses administered is 796051 (1st dose 707184 and 2nd dose 88867), the control room said.
