Imphal: A team of NAB arrested one drug trafficker along with intoxicated drugs at Yaiskul along Imphal Moreh road on Thursday.
The arrested person has been identified as Jangkholun Haokip, 32, son Jamkhal Haokip, resident of Suongpi Tuibuong Block, Churachandpur district.
The police team detained Jangkholun while he was driving in his four-wheeler (Bolero) bearing registration number MN01S-1228 at about 5 pm at Yaiskul, Imphal West.
During examination of the vehicle in the presence of witness 30 soap cases containing Heroin powder weighing about 375 gm and two packets of suspected to be containing 20,000 WY tablets were detected.
A case has been registered at NAB police station.
