Imphal: Khuga Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) apprehended a drug peddler and recovered 377 grams of Heroin No 4 worth Rs 1.5 crores in Churachandpur on Monday.
Bsed on specific input recieved from own sources, troops of Assam Rifles launched a swift operation which led to the apprehension and recovery of the contraband drugs, the Assam Rifles said on Thursday in a press release.
The drug peddler along with recovered item was handed over to Churachandpur Police station for further legal action, it added.
