Imphal: Ibomcha Ahongshangbam, a young frontliner as Vaccinator verifier and a daily wage earner donated his three days honorarium as prizes to three lucky vaccinated persons in Thangmeiband on Thursday.
“I chose the three (prize winners) randomly from the final list of vaccinated persons at Khomdram Selungba Leikai,” Ibomcha told Pothashang.
The donation was awarded with the motive to mobilise and motivate the mass to get vaccinated at the earliest and prevent the sufferings by the infection of the SARSnCOV2, he said.
The lucky vaccinated persons are T. Meneka, Lalambung Naoshekpam Leikai, I. Ichanmacha, Lalambung Takhellambam Leikai, N. Ton, Polem Leikai.
“We shall overcome the pandemic with ease when we are vaccinated and follow the SoPs,” Ibomcha writes on his Facebook wall.
Mobile vaccination drive in Thangmeiband Assembly Constituency began on June 25.
