BJYM appeals to join ‘Cheer4India’ campaign

Imphal: To motivate and support the Olympic athletes representing India especially 5 athletes of Manipur youth should join “Cheer4India” campaign, state president Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Koijam Ramkrishna, said.

He was speaking during a press conference held at BJP office here on Thursday evening.

He said in the Tokyo Olympics the country will witness its largest ever contingent representing India with 127 athletes.

To motivate and support them the campaign is being organised, he said.

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, under the leadership of its national president Tejasvi Surya is adding strength and youthful vigor to the government’s initiatives by designing and running the “#Cheer4India- Be Like An Olympian” challenge, he added.

Ramkrishna said participant of the campaign can start their challenge on any day during the Olympics and complete it by the end of the Game. To participate the campaign the participant has to sent 15 seconds video clip after registering at #Cheer4India in the website www.cheer4india.bjym.org, he said.

The challenge aims at inculcating discipline an developing good habits through daily challenges including walking, running, cycling, meditation, reading and yoga for the next 16 days during the Olympic, he added.
