Imphal: Out of 7184 test results released on Friday 1128 samples were confirmed positive for Covid-19 at the positivity rate of 15.7 percent in Manipur.
Ten Covid-19 related death cases were recorded in 24 hours. They belonged to Imphal West (4), Imphal East (4), Jiribam (1) and Kangpokpi (1).
The cumulative Covid death cases was 1350.
The fresh cases were from Imphal East (289), Imphal West (279), Thoubal (85), Bishnupur (96), Kakching (119), Ukhrul (7), Churachandpur (125), Chandel (44), Senapati (7), Tamenglong (15), Tengnoupal (12), Jiribam (30), Kangpokpi (19) and CAPF (1).
“Today, 643 persons were discharged. They are from home isolation (268), RIMS (17), JNIMS (2), CCCs (137) and CHICs (219),” state Covid-19 common control room said.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 82,688. The number of active cases is 9,033. The recovery rate is 87.44 percent, it added.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1943 D-type oxygen cylinders and 302 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
A total of 27282 vaccine doses were administered on Thursday. The cumulative doses so far administered is 983206 (1st dose of 876349 and 2nd dose of 106857).
The number of patients as on Thursday admitted/adjusted against available bed strengths in different treatment facilities in the state are RIMS (223/224), JNIMS (221/286), I Land Hospital (28/60), District Covid Facilities (148/347), MSF (26/30), Private Covid Hospitals (219/330) and CCCs (1271/2946). The grand total of admitted patients is 2136 and number of beds available is 2087, the control room said.
