Imphal: With eight more died of Covid-19 527 persons were confirmed positive while 444 patients recovered in a day in Manipur.
The death cases belonged to Imphal West (1), Imphal East (2), Thoubal (2), Bishnupur (1), Kakching (1) and Churachandpur (1).
The positivity rate was 11.7 percent on Sunday.
The new positive persons were from Imphal East (78), Imphal West (169), Thoubal (62), Bishnupur (66), Kakching (51), Ukhrul (10), Churachandpur (45), Chandel (3), Senapati (2), Tamenglong (9), Tengnoupal (3), Kangpokpi (20), ICamjong (1), Noney (1) and Jiribam (7).
Of the 444 recovered persons discharged 288 were from home isolation, 42 from RIMS (30) and JNIMS (12) and the rest 114 were from other Covid care facilities.
The cumulative number of death cases is 1047. The cumulative number of positive cases is 64,065. The number of active cases is 9,613. The recovery rate is 83.36 percent.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1643 D-type oxygen cylinders and 367 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur. District hospitals and government institutions have 436D,109B filled cylinders out of these Bishnupur (118D,7B), Chandel (34D,9B), Churachandpur (65D,OB), Senapati (48D,0B), Thoubal (36D,311), Ukhrul (34D,15B), Tamenglong (18D,1B), Jiribam(35D,13B) Moreh (25D,9B), Kamjong (3D,1B), Kangpokpi (4D,OB), Kakching (8D,18B), Noney(2D,OB), Pherzawl (6D,2B), and in CCC, 192D & 518 filled cylinders were made available on Sunday.
Latest report said 493501 have been vaccinated so far in Manipur.
