Imphal: Manipur on Saturday recorded 13 Covid-19 related fatalities, 757 fresh positive cases and 652 recovered cases.
The death cases belonged to Imphal West (6), Imphal East (4), Churachandpur (1), Kakching (1) and Thoubal (1).
The positive cases belonged to Imphal East (141), Imphal West (336), Thoubal (25), Bishnupur (54), Kakching (48), Ukhrul (3), Churachandpur (82), Chandel (5), Senapati (14), Tamenglong (9), Tengnoupal (2), Kamjong (31), Noney (2) and Kangpokpi (5).
All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
It said the total number of discharged persons is 652. They are from CAPF (13), Home Isolation (500), RIMS (1), SHIMS (9), RD Wing (4), LANVA (7), BB (17), NSU (12), SHRI (12), Babina Speciality Hospital (2), CCC Lamboikhongnangkhong (28), Jivan Hospital (1), RAJMED (5), Thoubal (10), Bishnupur (6), Ukhrul (13), Churachandpur (2), Tamenglong (1), Kangpokpi (8) and Jiribam (1).
Air passengers who travelled to the state on May 20 by Air India AI-889 in rows 14-35 are to inform the Common Covid Control Room 1800-345-3818 or respective district surveillance officers for further surveillance and necessary testing, the control room said.
Four air passengers were confirmed positive for Covid-19 at Imphal airport when tested 32 air passengers.
Cumulative air passenger positive cases has risen to 116.
As per latest information 341781 individuals have been vaccinated so far.
