Imphal: Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh on Friday chaired a review meeting on Covid preparedness with Deputy commissioners, chief medical officers at doctors at Covid Care Centres across the state through video conferencing.
“I have taken note of their progress and limitations. I’m grateful that the officials and doctors are giving their best to keep everyone safe in this pandemic, ” Biren said.
In a post on his Facebook wall, the chief minister said, “I can’t just sit back in my bungalow to review the preparation that are being taken up across the state. Happy to be at service for everyone in this challenging times.” As he highlights his visit to Covid Care centres and hospitals.
Manipur on Friday recorded two more loss of lives due to Covid-19 while 600 persons were confirmed as fresh Covid positive cases.
