Imphal: Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh on Wednesday inaugurated a PSA oxygen plant at Churachandpur.
The oxygen plant has a capacity of filling 45-50 D-type oxygen cylinders per day.
“As promised six days ago that we will operationalise this plant within a week, I’m happy to inaugurate the PSA oxygen plant,” Biren said.
The oxygen plant was inaugurated in presence of minister Vungzagin Valte, MLA Ginsuanhau Zou, MLA V. Hangkhanlian, MLA Dr Ranjan Sapam and MLA TN Haokip.
“I’m thankful to my cabinet colleagues, MLAs and the officials for their tireless effort to operationalise this plant within a very short period of time,” the chief minister said.
