Imphal: A team of Thoubal Police on Thursday apprehended for persons from Wangbal Khongnang Makhong along NH-102 and seized 375.74 gram of Heroin No.4 from their possession.
The apprehended persons were Paominlen Haokip, 36, son of Otkhomang Haokip of Motbung, Kangpokpi, Ngulkhohao Haokip, 29, son of Letthang Haokip of Moreh Ward No. 1, Tengnoupal district, Tongthang Kipgen, 48, son of Letthang Kipgen of Motbung, and (iv) Thangkhulun Baite, 28, son of Haokhothang of Moreh Ward No. 1.
The Heroine powder were found hidden in 30 shop cases.
The police also seized two vehicles one Eeco van bering registration number MN 06LA 8959 and one Alto car bearing registration number MN 01AG 4755 from their possession.
The arrested persons along with the seized items were handed over to Thoubal Police station for further legal action.
In this regard a case has been registered at Thoubal Police station for further investigation.
