Imphal: Officer-in-charge, Nongpok Sekmai Police Station, inspector K. Premkumar Mangang has recieved the Certificates of Excellence, jointly signed by Union home minister of India and Union home secretary for Nongpok Sekmai Police station ranking 1st Police station in the Country for the Year, 2020 and 1st in Manipur from DGP, Manipur LM Khaute in presence of IGP(ADM) I.K. Muivah and IGP (Provision/Ops/AP) E. Priyokumar Singh and SP Dr S. Ibomcha.
Nongpok Sekmai police station in Thoubal district of Manipur was declared as the best police station in the country for the year 2020.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah virtually presented the trophy to inspector Keisam Premkumar Mangang, on December 2, last year during the DGSP/IGSP conference at the office of Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau, Lamphelpat, Imphal West.
The trophy for the best police station was given as a recognition of the professionalism, hard work, dedication and community oriented policing by the Manipur Police.
