Imphal: Nine persons were tested positive for Covid-19 and six Covid patients were recovered in Manipur on Saturday.
The positive cases were from Imphal East (3), Imphal West (4), Kakching (1) and Ukhrul (1).
All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, state Covid-19 common control said.
It said in the last 24 hours, there was no report of death. The cumulative number of deaths was 374.
The recovered patients were discharged from home isolation.
The cumulative number of positive cases has risen to 29,415. The number of active case was 60 and the recovery rate was 98.52 percent.
“Air passengers who travelled to the state on April 1 by indigo flight 6E-6353 in rows 20 to 26, are to inform the Common Covid Control Room 18003453818 or respective district surveillance officers,” the control room said.
Till Friday, 86, 740 persons including 31, 625 health care workers had been vaccinated.
