Imphal: Manipur on Saturday reported 39 new Covid-19 positive cases pushing the active cases to 190.
Out of the new positive cases 17 belonged to Imphal West, eight to Imphal East, four to Bishnupur, two to Kakching and one each to Thoubal, Tengnoupal, Churachandpur, Chandel and Kangpokpi and three of them were central security personnel.
All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, state Covid-19 common control said.
In the last 24 hours, there was no report of death. The cumulative number of deaths was 376, it added.
Fourteen persons were discharged from CAPF (2) and Home Isolation (12).
The cumulative number of positive cases rose to 29,649. The recovery rate declined to 98.09 percent.
Air passengers who travelled to Manipur on April 15 by Air India flight AI-713 in rows 3-9 are to inform the Common Covid Control Room # 18003453818 or respective district surveillance officers immediately, the control room said.
As per the latest information 10, 4387 have been vaccinated so far.
