Imphal: Heroin No.4 contained in 69 soap cases transported from Myanmar were seized from two smugglers who came on vehicle (Gypsy) with no number plates at Langthabal Khunou on Wednesday night.
The two persons were identified as Satminlun Kipgen, 24, T. Nampao of Chakpikarong, Chandel district and Seikholen Haokip, 19, of Moreh, Chandel district.
They were trailed from KCG Lamkhai, Minnow village and finally nabbed at Langthabal Khunou area.
The drugs were recovered from running Boot of the Gypsy vehicle. These drugs were transported from Myanmar Border at the direction of one Mr. Len Haokip of Saivom village and was to be handed over to one person at Sora. A report has been filed at Khongjom Police station.
