Imphal: Manipur reported 4 new positive cases for COVID-19 from general population in the past 24 hours.
All the positive persons were females and tested at Imphal East (1), Raj Medicity (2) and Tamenglong (1). They belong to Imphal East (1), Kakching (1), Senapati (1) and Tamenglong (1) districts.
“All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place,” said COVID Common Control Room in their 5 pm report.
During the same time frame, 18 persons were recovered and discharged from Home Isolation (18). Meanwhile, there is no report of death.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,130. The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,672 while the number of active cases is 85. The cumulative number of deaths is 373 and the recovery rate is 98.42%.
