Imphal: A lady Anganwadi worker, 48, of Kumbi Terakhong, Bishnupur district died seven days after Covid vaccination on Friday.
“She was complaining of rashes and fever. The exact cause of her death will be known only after autopsy,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
So far 38484 persons have been vaccinated.
“There are no severe reactions/ allergies, adverse event following immunization (AEFI) till date. There were 46 mild reactions who were on home care and all of them are now fully recovered,” the control room said.
Covid-19 active cases in Manipur as on Friday was 85 with the confirmation of five new positive cases.
The positive cases from general population were from Imphal West (1), Ukhrul (1), Churachandpur (2) and Thoubal (1).
Covid-19 common control said in the last 24 hours there was no report of death. The cumulative number of deaths was 373. The total number of discharged persons was 3. They were from home Isolation.
The cumulative number of positive cases was 29,230 and the recovery rate was 98.43 percent.
