Imphal: In Manipur in 24 hours, 15 persons from general population were confirmed as new Covid-19 positive cases.
The positive cases from general population are from Imphal West (4), Imphal East (4), Thoubal (I), Bishnupur (2), Kakching (1), Tengnoupal (1), Chandel (1) and Tamenglong (1).
One person aged 74 yeas (male, Churachandpur) expired at JNIMS. The cumulative number of deaths was 371.
The total number of discharged persons was 25.
The cumulative number of positive cases was 29,037 and the number of active cases was 142. The recovery rate climbed to 98.23 percent.
