Imphal: With the launch of ‘Jan Andolan’ campaign for Covid appropriate behaviour by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, chief minister N. Biren Singh and others took pledge to take necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the deadly virus in the state in a simple function held at the chief minister’s secretariat on Thursday.
Biren pledged to follow the Covid appropriate behaviors and encouraged others to follow the same to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.
The key Covid appropriate behaviours include wearing of face mask, maintain a minimum distance of six feet from others, washing hands frequently etc.
The pledge taking function was attended by chief secretary Dr Rajesh Kumar, administrative secretaries and other high ranking officials.
Jan Andolan campaign was launched to encourage people’s participation in fighting against Covid-19.
