Imphal: With the confirmation of 15 persons positive for Covid-19 on Saturday night cumulative number of positive cases have mounted to 172 and the active cases to 120 in Manipur.
Fifteen persons (8 males, 4 females) were confirmed for Covid-19 at VRDLs of RIMS (12) and JNIMS (3). The district wise distribution is Thoubal 6 (5males, 1 female), Ukhrul 5 (2males, 3 females), Kangpokpi 3 (all female) and Imphal West (1 male). They are
returnees from Mumbai (8, by train), Delhi (6 by air and 1by bus), Manipur Covid-19 Control Room said on Sunday.
“Their health conditions are stable and they are being shifted to the Covid Care facilities in RIMS and JNIMS. All necessary control measures like containment and contact tracing are now in place,” it said.
Total number of positive cases has increased to 172. The number of active cases is 120, it added.
