Imphal: The total number of COVID-19 positive cases has reached 55 with the confirmation of 11 positive cases of the disease on Thursday.
Nine males and two females have been tested positive at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) and Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS), out of which seven of them were confirmed at RIMS and the remaining 4 at JNIMS.
They will be shifted to COVID Care facilities of RIMS and JNIMS respectively. “Their conditions are stable. All necessary control measures are put in place”, said Manipur COVID-19 Control Room on Thursday.
A patient who was admitted to the COVID Care facility of JNIMS was tested COVID-19 negative on Wednesday and has been discharged on Thursday. With this, the total number of recovered cases has increased to five.
“The number of active cases is 50,” said Manipur COVID-19 Control Room.
