Prosperous Manipur extends helping hand during fight against Covid-19

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, April 16, 2020: Prosperous Manipur, a group of like-minded people formed to serve people, on Thursday handed over 10 units of PPE ( personal and protective equipment) 50 units of hand sanitizers to medical superintendent, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) professor Ch. Arunkumar.

Specific prescribed medicines for the elders, 30 units of sanitizers and 12000 litres water were also provided to Mongsangei  Old Age Home.

“As we feel it is our responsibility to support our health workers who are giving their best for us during this Covid-19 pandemic in whatever small measure we could. We also wish to extend our hand to those who are less privileged,” said Th. Bonbihari, general secretary, Prosperous Manipur.

“As a service for the society, we have conducted the social activities today,” he added.

“As responsible citizens and in keeping with physical isolation practice, we maintained physical separation. Only one member represented Prosperous Manipur  in Old Age Home and three members represented us at RIMS,” he said.
