Pothashang News Service: Imphal, April 22, 2020: Manipur police has on Wednesday collected Rs 74,820 from 738 Covid-19 lockdown and curfew violators.
The police department has been continuing to crack down on violators of lockdown/curfew and those who are not wearing face mask in public to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the state. The violators were detained along with 484 vehicles. They were produced before the concern Magistrates.
The police department warns that those who do not wear face mask in public and those who violates the lockdown/curfew shall be dealt with strong legal action under National Disaster Management Act, 2005, ADGP L. Kailun said.
