Imphal: Manipur education (S) department, has directed the Council of Higher secondary Education Manipur to promote the students of Class XI to Class XII without holding examination in wake of Covid-19 outbreak.
Education (S) commissioner T Ranjit Singh in a letter addressed to the Secretary COHSEM stated that State Cabinet in its meeting on April 20 has approved that the class XI examination conducted by COHSEM for the academic year 2019-20 be done away in view of the outbreak of Covid-19 across the globe and the cabinet has also approved that the class XI student be promoted to Class XII based on the term test performance etc of the student.
It requested the COHSEM to intimate the state government regarding its action taken.
