Manipur receives more PPE kits

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, March 30, 2020: Manipur has on Monday received another package of PPE kits to help fight against Covid-19.

Indian Airforce plane with medicines and equipment reached Bir Tikendrajit International Airport, here on Monday.

Chief minister N. Biren Singh thanked Indian Airforce for its ‘indomitable’ effort in bringing the supplies to Manipur.

The Airforce (C. 130) Super Hercules Aircraft brought 1008 PPE kits, 10, 000 triple layer masks, 7500 sterile surgical gloves,  6580 hand sanitiser packs and Covid-19 testing reagents of 5, 600 kits ( 5000 screening kits and 600 confirmatory kits).

Earlier on Saturday the state received 2.5 tonnes of relief materials containing 1200 PPE kits among others, transported by air.
