Pothashang News Service : Imphal, February 15: Security Meet was conducted by 6 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) at Andro Company Operating Base, Singjamei Company Operating Base and at Keithelmanbi, on 15 Feb 2018.
The forum was attended by all villages Headman and Meira Paibis. Total 75 villagers including Meira Paibis attended the meeting. Security situation was reviewed and necessary measures to be undertaken were discussed by Officiating Commandant and Company Commanders of the Company Operating Base. In addition suggestions to improve synergy between Security Forces and the local populace were also discussed. The attendees appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles in ensuring peace and assured their commitment and assistance in maintaining the same, said a statement by IGAR (South)
