Imphal, December 5: A suspected bomb was found lying at the Pallel-Chandel road this morning which halted traffic for few hours on the Chandel road.
The stuff was found at the roadside about 1km away from the 8th MR Camp at Leikun Village in Chandel district.
Securtity forces rushed at the spot and halted traffic until the bomb like stuff was identified as a hoax.
Afeter series of blasts in the state including the Chandel blast on November 13and the Sajik Tampak blast and encounter between rebels and AR troops on November 15, the incident of hoax bomb came up.
