Imhal, November 29: India team B (Manipur) lifted the Manipur International Polo Tournament 2017 cup beating Argentina by a narrow margin of 7-6 goals in the final match played today at Mapal Kangjeipung, the original polo ground in Imphal.
Argentina entered final by defeating England by 6-3 goals while the Manipur team beat USA by 10-2 goals in the semi finals.
Altogether six teams gallop to tussle for the cup. The foreign teams were England, USA, Morocco and Australia.
Last year Australia was the champion of the tournament. It beat India team B (Manipur) by 9-6 goals.
