Imphal, November 7: Under liquor preventive drive with the approaching of the Manipur Sangai Festival, Narcotic Cell Imphal East seized 275 litre of distilled indigenous country (DIC) liquor.
The liquor was found from the possession of Puthem Saratchandra Singh (27), son of (L) P. Purnachandra Singh of Andro kharam leikai during frisking and checking in and around Wangkhei Ayangpali area in Imphal East this morning.
The liquor trader and seized liquor were handed over to Excise department, Porompat branch through OC-PRT for further necessary action.
