In the continuing move of the state police to prevent from unwanted incidents on the Independence Day, the police picked up 26 persons including 11 women from Hatta, Today.
A combined team of Imphal East police commando and a police team of Porompat police cordoned Hatta and its adjoining areas in Imphal East and took up search operation. In the operation that conducted between 4 am and 6 am 530 males and 368 females were verified. 15 males and 11 female were picked up for further verification.
The operation was conducted under the instruction of Superintendent of police, Imphal East Police, K. Kabib.
