Imphal: Manipur governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Monday the state team of Wheelchair Basketball who got runners-up in the recently held National Wheelchair Basketball Tournament.
Representatives of the Wheelchair Basketball Association Manipur called on the governor at Raj Bhavan, here, following their remarkable achievement in the national tournament.
The Manipur team put up an impressive performance and reached the finals, where they finished as runners-up to Maharashtra. Their achievement has paved the way for them to represent India at the upcoming international tournament in Thailand.
The governor congratulated the team on their dedication, sportsmanship, and determination, and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence as they prepare to compete on the global stage.
