Imphal: Thirty-eight new Dengue positive cases has been confirmed in 24 hours, said a state Health department report on Friday.
Of the new cases 26 belonged to Imphal West, eight to Imphal West, two to Bishnupur and one each to Thoubal and Kakching districts.
September (in 12 days) recorded highest number of Dengue cases of 436 while August recorded 399 cases and July confirmed 60 cases.
Since January the cumulative cases rose to 965 with a single death record.
Imphal West has the highest cumulative positive cases tally with 718, followed by Imphal East with 117 and Thoubal with 34.
