Imphal: Security forces in Manipur nabbed three drug smugglers at two different locations in Bishnupur district on Saturday.
The arrested drug smugglers were identified as Md. Arab Khan Ipham, 26, of Kwakta Khuman Ward No. 5, Md. Najeruddin, 42, and Md. Altab Khan, 31 of Kwakta Ward No. 8 (KMC).
Arab was nabbed at Kwakta Sabal Leikal along NH-2 Tiddim Road under Phougakchao Ikhai police station, while the other two were nabbed at Kwakta Terakhongshangbi Bazar along NH-2, Tiddim Road under Moirang police station.
Ten soap cases containing Heroin powder weighing 113 grams, one four wheeler and one mobile handset were seized from Arab.
Twenty two soap cases containing Heroin powder, weighing 256 grams, one four wheeler and two mobile phones were seized from Najeruddin and Altab, said police on Sunday.
