Imphal: Manipur governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, extending his ‘sincere’ greetings and ‘best’ wishes to the people in the state and across the nation on Janmashtami, said he prays that the blessings of Lord Krishna bring peace, prosperity, and harmony to every household.
Janmashtami marks the divine birth of Lord Shri Krishna, whose life and teachings continue to illuminate the path of righteousness, compassion, and wisdom. His message in the Bhagavad Gita—to perform one’s duty with sincerity and detachment—remains a timeless guide for humanity, Bhalla said in his greetings.
“As we celebrate this auspicious day with devotion and joy, let us reflect on the values Lord Krishna embodied: the triumph of dharma over adharma, the power of love and humility, and the courage to stand against injustice. I pray that the blessings of Lord Krishna bring peace, prosperity, and harmony to every household.”
“May Janmashtami 2025 strengthen the bonds of unity and enrich the cultural fabric of Manipur,” the governor concluded.
