Imphal: Manipur governor on Wednesday chaired a meeting with senior officials of the Planning department to assess the progress and functioning of the Manipur Projects Coordination Portal (MPCP) – a digital initiative aimed at enhancing inter-departmental coordination for infrastructure and development projects across the state.
The officials presented a detailed overview of the portal’s objectives and functionalities. They informed the governor that major executing departments such as the PWD, PHED, MSPDCL, MSPCL, MAHUD, Police, District Administration, and the IT department will be using the portal to coordinate projects efficiently. The key focus of the platform is to ensure proper planning and avoid delays.
The governor commended the initiative as a step toward more transparent, accountable, and efficient governance. He advised continued efforts to improve the system and ensure full departmental participation for timely and effective project execution across the state.
