Imphal: Nine samples were found positive for COVID-19 among 47 samples tested on Friday, taking the cumulative positive cases to 318.
The new cases belonged to Imphal West (4), Bishnupur district (4) and Thoubal (1). The positivity rate was 20 percent.
Five positive persons were discharged. The active cases stood at 38. So far, 280 persons have been recovered. No fatality has been registered.
Of the active cases, 36 were on home isolation.
