Imphal: Two new Covid-19 positive cases were confirmed on Thursday as per the latest status report issued by the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme.
The new cases were confirmed out of 13 samples tested on this day. They belonged to Imphal East and Bishnupur districts. The positivity rate was 15.4 percent.
With this, the cumulative number of Covid-19 positive cases reported in the state of Manipur since June 1 stood at 309, with Imphal West accounting for the highest number of cases, followed by Imphal East and Bishnupur districts.
As present, there were 34 active cases in the state, most of whom were under home isolation, as per the report.
Altogether, 275 individuals have been recovered and discharged. No Covid-19 related death has been registered so far in the new wave.
