Imphal: The Kukis should understand that their demands will never be fulfilled, said Shiv Sena Manipur Pradesh president M. Tombi on Thursday.
There will be no reward for killing one another in the ongoing crisis; instead, a collective effort is needed from all sections of society, including politicians, regardless of party affiliation, while sidelining political blame games, said Tombi.
He was addressing a group of reporters t the state party head office, here.
Many lives have been lost in the ongoing crisis, he said adding that further violence will bring no rewards, it will bring only sorrow and pain.
He urged both the Kuki and Meitei communities to take the initiative in restoring peace rather than continuing the cycle of violence.
