Huge quantity liquor seized in Manipur

Imphal: Manipur valley village defense volunteers on Saturday seized and destroyed a large quantity of Indian Made Foreign Liquor and beer from a residence at Soibam Leikai Meri Leirak, Imphal East.

The residence belonged Ningombam Binoy Singh, son of the late N. Rajo.

A volunteer said, for the past few decades, many youths have fallen victim to intoxicants, leading to the deterioration of society and appealed to all sections of society to work collectively to stop the sale of intoxicants.

He also warned those involved in such activities to cease immediately for the betterment of the community.
