Missing man remains untraceable

Imphal: The 56-year-old man who went missing inside the GOC 57 Mountain Division campus in Leimakhong on Monday remained untraceable.

Kanto Sabal women staged a sit-in rally demanding safe rescue of the person Laishram Kamalbabu, 56, originally from Gosaipur in Cachar district of Assam. He was presently residing at Loitang Khunou in, Imphal West. He works as a supervisor for MS Binod Constructions, a firm engaged in construction projects on the Army campus.

Kamalbabu has been missing since Monday after he went at the army camp for his duty.

Police says search operations for the missing has been continued.

In wake of the tense situation in the state , district administrations in Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Kakching, and Bishnupur has been imposing curfews, relaxaing from 5 am to 12 noon to prevent from violent agitations.

Internet suspension has been extended for another two days till Friday evening.
