Imphal: People stormed at the residences of ministers and MLAs in Imphal and valley districts following the confirmation of dead of six individuals in hands of Kuki terrorists, on Saturday.

A vehicle parked at the residential area of BJP MLA S. Kunjakeswor of Tera Keithel in Imphal West was burnt by an irrate mob allegedly for not taking responsible steps as an erected member to safeguard people from Kuki aggressors.

Another mob also dismantled furniture of BJP MLA RK Imo Singh’s residence in Imphal West.

Protesting people also dismantled portion of MLA Nishikanta residence at keishampat in Imphal West.

Another mob also stormed at the residence of minister Susindro at Khurai in Imphal East. However, no harm was reported.

Similar attack was also witnessed at the residence of Kshetrigao AC MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan in Imphal East.

The residence of MLA Thangjam Arunkumar of Wangkhei AC in Imphal East.

People also stormed at the residence of MLA Karam Shyam of Langthabal in Imphal West, no damage or confrontation was made.

Indefinite curfew has been clamped in the Imphal districts and Bishnupur district ‘due to the developing law and order situation’.

The residences of Uripok AC MLA Khwairakpam Raghumani Singh and Thangmeiband AC MLA Khumukcham Joykisan in Imphal West district were also stormed by irate mobs.

Amid the situation MLA Sagolshem Kebi Devi of Naoria Pakhanglakpa was taken by a mob to the chief minister’s secretariat to get her stance with the chief minister.

Minister Sapam Ranjan assured a mob at his residence at Lamphel to go by the wish of the people.

There has been pressure to all the MLAs to resign as they remained with no action in this 18 months long attack by Kuki-Zo narco-terrorists.
