Police rescue abducted army officer

Imphal: Manipur Police rescued a junior commissioned officer (JCO) of Indian Army from the hands of abductors on Friday.

Konsam Kheda Singh, 40, JCO (who was on leave), of Thoubal was abducted by some unknown armed miscreants from his house.

Manipur Police launched search operations and rescued the abducted person from Waikhong area, Kakching district.

A case has been registered for further investigation, police said.
