Congress to demand disqualification Ginsuanhau Zou

Manipur PCC will be demanding disqualification to one more of its MLA Ginsuanhau Zou who joined its rival BJP along with 14 members of Autonomous District Council, Chandel including its chairman Lhukhosui Zou yesterday.
Khumukcham Joykishan, spokesperson of MPCC said, “We will be demanding disqualification of Ginsuanhau after we held a meeting with the party president.”
Ginsuanhau was elected on Congress ticket from Singhat assembly constituency of Churachandpur in the recent election.
The congress party has also been demanding disqualification of Th. Shyamkumar who joined BJP ahead of the government formation.
Joykishan said the actions of the MLAs are as if the constitution’s Tenth Schedule is not effective. Ginsuanhau did not join BJP by his own determination but joined the party due to the pressure of a certain underground outfit as reasoned by the MLA himself, added Joykishan.
