Chief minster Nongthombam Biren Singh has urged the ambassador of India to Myanmar Vikram to take up the matter with the Myanmar government.
Biren Singh made the appeal today for which Vikram assured that he would put up the matter at the appropriate level, said a statement released by the directorate of information and public relations.
Both discussed on the Indo Mynamar trade and the international relations with the south-east Asian countries. They also stressed on finding the ways to strengthen the ties between the two countries.
The ambassador and the Tengnoupal superintendant of Police will visit border town, Moreh tomorrow and take stock of the existing border between India and Myanmar and the ongoing construction works of integrated check post and other infrastructures related to the Indo Myanmar border trade.
