Imphal: The order of state home department in connection with the on-going indefinite cease work strike is to de-moralise the protestors, employees’ associations will be sending letter to withdraw the order immediately, says employees bodies.
Despite state government’s order not to support the on-going cease work strike, employees under the umbrella of Manipur Secretariat Services Association (MSSA), Manipur Government Services Federation (MGSF), Manipur Secretariat (non-ministerial) Drivers’ Association continue its agitation demanding to fulfil their demands immediately.
MSSA general secretary Purujit Lairikyengbam said the employees will be continuing the on-going indefinite cease work till the demands are fulfilled.
It is unfortunate that state government issued an order cautioning the employees that action will be taken against the employees who are supporting the on-going protest. It is a common phenomenon of government to caution the employees at such situation, he said.
He said the employees would be glad if the government fulfil the demands by converting the MoUs that were signed with the government and employees’ association instead of issuing threatening order in order to de-moralise the protestors.
The employees’ association have decided to send a letter to the government to withdraw the recent order cautioning the employees not to support the on-going indefinite cease work strike, Purujit said.
