Imphal: On Tuesday Sekmai Assembly Constituency recorded the highest number of vaccinations to 1064 beneficiaries.
Sekmai MLA H. Dingo said this through a video note during a visit at five vaccination centres of Sekmai Assembly Constituency including Sekmai Upper Primary School and Magic parking, Sekmai Khunou.
As no one can stop time, similarly no one can stop while bringing development and in order to eat the fruit of development, people need to get vaccinated in order to avoid the severe impact from Covid-19, Dingo said.
To control the pandemic at this present scenario, any person should not play low politics. He said over 11,000 population of Sekmai have been vaccinated in different free vaccination campaign.
The vaccination will be continued till it covers the entire population of the Constituency.
The 46th phase mass RAT testing in the Constituency has been continuing and till date. For mobile RAT testing at door-to-door the volunteers have covered 700 households till date, Dingo said.
He said he will continue extending necessary assistance to the needy who have been affected due to pandemic in the Constituency.
He said any person of the Constituency who are tested positive but do not have proper facility for home isolation can admit at Community Home Isolation Centre opened at Sadar Patel School, Khurkhul.
