Imphal: Manipur on Saturday records a recovery of 1057 patients from the contagion COVID-19 pushing the recovery rate to 80.32 percent.
According to state COVID-19 common control room, 1057 COVID-19 patients were discharged . They were from CAPF (4), home Isolation (939, as shared by IDSP including backlog report of Imphal East and Imphal West) from October 29 to October 30), JNIMS (22), RIMS (2). LKK (15), UNACCO (13). PR Kakching (2), Kangpokpi (4), Tamenglong (11), TK Ukhrul (1), DH Chandel (2). JNV Chandel (2), Lamding (16), RD Wing (2), Moreh (1), Bishnupur (4), Kasom Khullen (2). Thoubal (12) and Bal Bhavan (3).
It said in the past twenty-four hours, 217 persons from general population and 13 personnel from Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases.
The positive cases from general population were from Imphal West (80), Imphal East (31), Thoubal (10), Tengnoupal (2), Kangpokpi (2), Noney (7), Kamjong (13), Ukhrul (5), Bishnupur (8). Kakching (7), Senapati (3), Churachandpur (15), Tamenglong (31), Jiribam (1) and Chandel (2).
All were locals without any significant travel history. They are being shifted to the COVID Care facilities. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing were in place, the control room said.
During the period four persons aged 65 years (male, Thoubal), 72 years (male, Imphal West), 43 years (female, Tamenglong) and 78 years (female, Imphal East). Two of them expired at RIMS and two from JNIMS Hospitals, respectively.
The cumulative number of deaths was 168.
The cumulative number of positive cases was 18,502 (general population — 15,743 and central security personnel — 2,759). The number of active cases was 3,472 (general population — 3,159 and central security personnel — 313).
