Pothashang News Service, Imphal, February 8, 2018: Kongkham Robindro, BJP MLA, Mayang Imphal was elected as Deputy Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly today.
The election was held at 10 am in the State Assembly. K. Robindro defeated Md. Fajur Rahim Congress MLA, Wabagai in voice vote. Mr. Robindro is one of the youngest ever Deputy Speakers in Manipur Legislative Assembly.
