Imphal: In the last 24 hours 85 new Dengue cases were confirmed in Manipur according to a report of the state’s Directorate of Health Services posted on Thursday.
Sixty of them belonged to Imphal West, 17 to Imphal East, four to Kakching, and one each to Thoubal, Ukhrul, Tamenglong and Noney districts.
August recorded 399 Dengue cases, September 950 and October recorded 85 cases on the second day.
Imphal West district has the highest cumulative cases of 1141, followed by Imphal East with 226 cases, Thoubal with 54, Bishnupur with 39, Kakching with 38, Senapati with 17, Ukhrul with 16, Chandel with 10, Kamjong with eight, Tamenglong with five, Noney with four, Churachandpur three, Tengnoupal two cases and Kangpokpi with one case.
Pherzawl and Jiribam districts have no report of Dengue case this year.
One Dengue related death case was reported in Bishnupur early this year.
